Exhibit at the Library of American Broadcasting

Located on the College Park campus of the University of Maryland, this is an informal and continuing display, and offers a selection of both console and table model radio and television receivers from the 1920s to about 1960. They are in the Library of American Broadcasting’s main reading room. The LAB is well worth visiting as it forms one of the country’s larger specialized archives devoted to broadcasting’s people, organizations, programs, and technologies. It is open during normal weekday working hours, but not on the weekend.
