For Educators
Bring NCRTV to your classroom!
We have several outreach programs to bring into your schools. Each outreach program is hands-on and designed to provide a fun and engaging lesson for your students. Our outreach programs are geared for 3-5th grade students.
Each program:
- Lasts 30–45 minutes
- Is designed for a classroom setting (not large assemblies)
- Includes hands-on activities to reinforce learning objectives
- Helps students to understand the foundations of modern electronic media
Cost is $70 for the first classroom, with additional programs/classrooms costing $50 each (discounts for Title I schools). We can accommodate up to 5 lessons in a day.

Come to NCRTV!
We can accommodate visits to the museum for groups of 25 or less at a time. Cost of visiting the museum is $7.00 per student, with Chaperones free in a 5:1 ratio. Additional Chaperones are $5.00. Each tour group will receive a tour of the museum, learning about broadcast history, as well as a hands-on activity. Tours are typically 90 minutes in length.
We cannot accommodate food inside of the museum but have plenty of outdoor space for a picnic. Create a weather plan accordingly if you plan to integrate lunch into your visit.
These programs are great for mixed homeschool groups, scouts, or smaller charter schools.
